Pauline Taylor has won the “Registered Care Nurse Of The Year Award”. At the ceremony in the London Hilton Metropole she was presented the award by comedian Brian Conley after she impressed the judging panel with her dedication.

The “Caring Times” publication sponsors these awards to promote excellence in the care industry. They are recognised as the number one awards for long term care

She was nominated by the general manager of Badgeworth Court Care Centre in Cheltenham, Terri Berry. Pauline has worked there for five years and has been head of care since May.

As a specialist in palliative care she said that she likes to make people coming in for end-of-life care feel like a valued member of a new extended family. They also need to be able to spend quality time with their own family: there’s only one chance to get it right.

“I have always wanted to do elderly care, that is my main passion,” she said.

Terri Berry said that the award demonstrates that Badgeworth staff go above & beyond the call of duty to provide high quality care.
