Resurfacing to take place on A417 Maisemore

Due to the ongoing heavy rains it has been decided to postpone the remaining carriageway resurfacing works planned for overnight tonight.
The works will be re-programmed as soon as is possible.
Resurfacing to take place on A417 Maisemore
The A417 is being resurfaced this week between Overton and Maisemore and will be closed to all traffic for two consecutive nights.
Gloucestershire Highways are carrying out the work between the
hours of 8pm and 6am on Wednesday 25
th and Thursday 26
th August.
The road will reopen Friday morning (27
th) using temporary traffic lights whilst road markings are put in place. It will reopen fully in time for the bank holiday.
