I have been involved in voluntary work for over 30 years.

I am one of the founder members of Unity Youth Club and Football Team, which was formed in 1977. Unity Youth club and Football team was formed specifically for the young black youth in Gloucester and was based at the Chequers Bridge Centre.

In 1979 I completed a part time youth leaders course held at Cowley Manor, and went on to became a Part Time Youth leader at Unity Youth Club and at Matson Youth Club, which was based in Matson Lane.

In 1988 Danny Williams and I formed D&D Promotions. We specialised in bringing Reggae Bands, Singers, DJ’s and Sound Systems to the Black Community of Gloucester that would not normally come and perform in Gloucester.

In 1990 elected to the Jamaican Sports and Social club Management committee. A member of the management committee for 5 years. During that time held various position on the committee, Entertainment’s Manager, Fixtures Secretary of the clubs Domino team, responsible for liasing with the Clubs Architect when the club was refurbished 1993-4.

At present I am the chairperson of the Gloucester FM community radio management committee, which was formed in 1999.
