Weekly roads update

Gloucestershire County Council has now repaired almost 48,000 potholes as part of Operation Road Rescue.
In the past week, 3,241 potholes were filled by 70 teams from Gloucestershire Highways to bring the running total up to 47,915 fixed since January 25th.
Teams have been out around the county repairing potholes, patching and resurfacing roads that were badly damaged during the freezing weather.
An extra 30% highways staff have been diverted into dealing with problems out on the streets to get the damage repaired as quickly as possible.
